Govt provides RM100 mln Dana Asas fund for Bumiputera companies

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 (Bernama) -- The government, through Ekuiti Nasional Bhd (EKUINAS), will provide Dana Asas investment fund amounting to RM100 million specifically for Bumiputera companies as a direct investment fund.

This will involve a minimum investment value of RM10 million for every investment, said Finance minister, said Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz.

Meanwhile, Pelaburan Hartanah Bhd will receive an allocation of RM50 million to continue with commercial development to increase the value of Bumiputeraowned properties including Malay reserve land.

He said this when tabling Budget 2023 with the theme “Keluarga Malaysia, Prospering Together” in the Dewan Rakyat today.
