Petrol, Diesel prices remain unchanged until July 24

KUALA LUMPUR, July 17 (Bernama) – The retail prices of RON97 and RON95 petrol as well as diesel remain unchanged at RM3.47, RM2.05 and RM3.35 a litre respectively from tomorrow (July 19) to July 24.

The Finance Ministry said today in a statement that the retail price of diesel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan will remain at RM2.15 per litre.

The statement said the prices were fixed based on the weekly retail pricing of petroleum products using the Automatic Price Mechanism formula.
 
"The government will continue to monitor the trends of changes in world crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people," according to the statement.
