Diesel Retail Price Raised By 4 Sen Per Litre From 29 January 2026 To 4 February 2026

Following the recent climb in global oil prices, the Government has set the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia at RM2.92 per litre from 29 January 2026 to 4 February 2026.

The Government will continue to review and adjust diesel retail price in line with movements in the current global oil markets. Even so, price stability remains the foremost priority.

Using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula, retail prices for petroleum products from 29 January 2026 to 4 February 2026 are:

  1. RON97 petrol remains at RM3.10 per litre;

  2. Non-subsidised RON95 petrol remains at RM2.54 per litre;

  3. Subsidised RON95 petrol under BUDI95 remains at RM1.99 per litre;

  4. Diesel in Peninsular Malaysia rises by 4 sen to RM2.92 per litre; and

  5. Diesel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remains at RM2.15 per litre.

The Government will continue monitoring global oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure people’s welfare remains intact.
